Questions you might have
Do clients need to install anything?
No. The App Clip launches the moment they tap. No Apple ID prompt, no confirmation. iOS handles it natively in under a second.
What about Android?
Android walk-ins get a free FlashTap app from the Play Store. One tap to install, then the same gallery and the same ten-minute timed view as iPhone. Screenshots and screen recording come out black, just like on iPhone.
What does the tag look like?
A small disc, roughly 30mm. Stick it on a wall, the chair, the underside of your tattoo gun stand. We ship one with every active subscription.
How long is setup?
Five minutes. Sign up, add a card, upload your flash. We mail the tag to your address within five business days.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click in the billing dashboard. No retention loops.
What if someone photographs the screen with another phone?
They can. Screenshots and screen recording come out black on the phone itself, so casual capture fails. A person who’s decided to point a second camera at the screen will get a picture. That’s the honest limit.
Do I get walk-ins' contact info?
No. They don’t sign in, you don’t get their email. But every session can show a Links sheet pointing wherever you want: booking page, Instagram, portfolio site, anywhere on the internet you want them to find you. They reach out to you on your terms, instead of you collecting theirs.
Does FlashTap handle bookings?
No. Bookings stay in Booksy, Square, Acuity, or wherever you already run them. Drop the link into your Links sheet and walk-ins can tap straight through after they see your work.
